Derek Walker is a writer, director, editor, and animator with a passion to tell engaging stories through science fiction, fantasy, and a dash of comedy. He graduated with a degree in Entertainment and Media Studies from the University of Georgia. However, even before college he was already producing award winning live action and animated films.

Currently Derek is a Production Assistant at Titmouse Animation, working on shows for Netflix and Amazon. Everyday he gets the chance to flex not just his creativity, but his well-toned organization and collaboration muscles, helping each department get what they need and run smoothly. With the knowledge and experience he accumulates, he plans to create and show run a television series of his own someday.

In short, Derek has the creative, technical, and interpersonal skills to make projects happen. He’s self motivated-…wait, um…self-driven? Ah dang, there’s a better phrase to describe him. There’s a well fitting pun on the tip of my tongue… Shoot. I can’t think of it.
