There is a reason I called the uploaded script Draft 0.9. 10% of the story is still missing. Regardless of the amount of brain power I put into it, I still can’t think of anything to fill in the gaps.
I hope this session with Jack and a few peer edits would help me finish the draft, but alas, no luck. Only Patrick and Thomas Russell were able to make it today and we kept getting distracted. I should have put more of a focus on the project. As Thomas was making comments, Jack was coming up with questions for a Quiz Up quiz and Patrick was looking through a yearbook. Once Thomas finally finished, Patrick wanted to leave to go play frisbee. I realize through experience with working with him, if you don’t engage him within the time he gets there, he gets bored and unwilling to do anything else. He only read about four pages of the screenplay.
It’s a little frustrating because I stayed up and stressed hours on working on it. Four days or creative labor and nothing substantial to show for it.
I hope to get back on track as quickly as possible.
